You'll be joining the ambitious and energised KISS Network content team, based in London. We're on a mission to build KISS into a world-famous brand for youth audiences aged 15-34. You'll work closely with producers, presenters, and stakeholders across Bauer Media Audio, including our extension brands and the Rayo app. This is a collaborative, creative environment where bold ideas and strategic thinking drive everything we do.
The difference you will make:
As Deputy Director of Content for the KISS Network, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our content strategy. You'll lead a team of producers and presenters, ensuring the highest standards in planning and execution to drive audience and commercial growth.
You'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of the content function, working across radio, digital, and live events. From coaching talent to delivering creative responses to commercial briefs, your leadership will help make KISS an unmissable destination for youth audiences in the digital era.
Your role:
You'll lead the content team and manage the execution of strategy across the KISS Network and its platforms.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Develop and deliver the KISS Network talent and content strategy
Inspire and drive editorial and commercial content for youth audiences
Lead producers and presenters across extension brands
Manage daily content operations and ensure compliance with broadcast codes
Monitor output across all channels and identify areas for improvement
Oversee forward planning across schedules and content
Coach and lead producers and presenters, including high-profile talent
Deputise for the Director of Content and demonstrate strong leadership
Collaborate with commercial programming teams to deliver creative briefs
Drive content and audience growth strategy for KISS on the Rayo app
Manage audience feedback and enquiries
Lead large-scale projects including live events and charity initiatives
The skills you will bring:
Essential: Strong understanding of the KISS brand, music, and audience
Knowledge of station play-out, scheduling, and programming software
Understanding of finance and budget processes
Experience with Rajar and digital audience measurement tools
Ability to turn audience insights into actionable strategy
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Skilled in working with high-profile talent and agents
Excellent planning, communication, and presentation skills
Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and office software
Desirable: Collaborative mindset and cross-functional working experience
Passion for continuous improvement and content innovation
