The Growth Company's (GC) Group Marketing team is excited to offer a fantastic new opportunity for a

Deputy Director of Digital Marketing

. In this strategic leadership role, you will drive innovation and performance across GC's digital channels, with a strong emphasis on AI, automation, and data-driven marketing to support client acquisition and retention.


Key Responsibilities:




Lead the development and implementation of digital and social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and stakeholder engagement. Oversee service design and transformation, including the integration of AI-powered systems and automation. Manage and mentor digital, design, and marketing teams, building digital confidence and capability across the Group. Drive the adoption of emerging technologies and tools to optimise digital marketing performance, including SEO, paid media, CRM, and analytics. Collaborate with Heads of Marketing to plan, execute, and evaluate strategic campaigns aligned with GC's priorities. Chair the Group Marketing Board and explore the use of AgenticAI to enhance campaign delivery. Work closely with internal departments, external partners, and agencies to ensure digital marketing supports wider organisational goals. Ensure compliance with GC policies and regulatory guidelines, including accessibility, AI policy, social media policy, and data protection. Provide regular performance reports and actionable insights to senior leadership using GC's reporting platforms.

About You:




Proven experience in leading digital marketing strategy and delivery at a senior level. Strong understanding of AI tools, automation, analytics, and performance marketing. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable digital plans and insights. Experience managing cross-functional teams and external agencies.

Skills Required:




Familiarity with platforms such as Funnel, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, Zoho. Experience in public sector, multi-brand or complex matrix organisations (desirable). Fully conversant with all major social media platforms and third-party measurement tools. Ability to coach teams to work alongside AI agents and shift towards strategic, creative oversight.
