(36.42 hour a week Monday to Friday though the role requires flexibility to cope with the varying workload associated with different parts of the examinations cycle)
This is an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Examinations Officer to join a growing Exams team who are responsible for ensuring all examinations are conducted effectively and efficiently, in the best interests of the students, and in line with JCQ and awarding body regulations.

As a Deputy Examinations Officer your primary role will be to support the Examinations Officer with all elements of planning, coordinating and delivering of all examinations and assessments. The successful candidate will have specific responsibility for the management of external BTEC assessments, the logistics of the College's Mock Exam Week and overview of special consideration applications.

Experience in education, specifically in exams, would be an advantage, however an eye for detail, methodical approach to tasks, an ability to work to deadlines and within a team are the key attributes the successful candidate will need to demonstrate.

The full-time annual salary for the role is 35,356-38,727 inclusive of the fringe allowance.
