Job Description

To make a significant contribution to the annual accounting process To take a lead role in relevant technical accounting issues To make acontribution towards the Monthly Accounts, Quarterly Monitoring returns and Annual Financial Returns To make a contribution towards the production of the trusts annual planning cycle To give financial advice and support to a range of staff on a number of issues, facilitating in effective management and financial control within the department To maintain control over the financial aspects of relevant information systems To give quality accounting support, taking account of statutory regulations, corporate governance and proper accounting records To project lead on specific areas of quality and process improvement in Financial Services To be responsible for the development of staff within the Financial Services Department To provide regular management information in relation to area of responsibility To ensure that financial controls are maintained within Corporate Governance guidelines
