Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Food & Beverage Manager to oversee the daily operations of our F&B Operation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality ideally including hotel experience and with a passion for delivering exceptional service. As the Deputy F&B Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring a high standard of food and beverage operation, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Responsibilities

Support the Head of Food & Beverage in the day to day management of all Food & Beverage Operations, ensuring excellent customer service, standards and adherence to company procedures. Produce departmental rotas and manage them in accordance with hotel budgets, to ensure they are efficient & support all business needs. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations. Train and mentor new staff members in hospitality best practices and operational procedures. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the bar area. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving to resolve issues promptly. Monitor financial performance, including sales reports and budgeting for F&B operations.

Skills

Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry. Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a large and diverse group of individuals. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary principles is essential. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer interaction. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with bar equipment and food production processes is advantageous. A passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing outstanding service to guests. Strong knowledge of both bar and restaurant operations. Ability to read a stock report & use it to implement procedures and processes to enhance performance results.
