Job Description

We are seeking an ambitious Deputy General Manager to help run baresca tapas bar and restaurant in Nottingham City Centre. Established in 2015, baresca focuses on delivering excellent fresh, flavour-packed tapas in a fun and vibrant atmosphere.

baresca forms part of a small group of local restaurants and venues including escabeche, Perkins Bar & Bistro and The Carriage Hall.

This is a hands on operational role where your main task will be managing the team to deliver superb customer experiences in a bustling, busy environment. You will also assist the General Manager to profitably manage all aspects of the venue. The main functions of the role are to take responsibility for:

All aspects of the customer experience The day to day management of the venue and service operations Staff Recruitment, Development and Performance Financial Performance in line with agreed budget Legal compliance Property & grounds management

The candidate must be customer focused, immaculately presented, have great people management skills and a keen eye for detail.

Payment package details

Annual package of up to 37,200 (31,200 annual salary + 1k performance related pay + gratuities)

47 hour contract available upon request, kindly note annual package will be adjusted to reflect this.
