DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER - Brookhouse Mill, LL16 4RD (opening spring 2026)

Full Time - 45 hours per week

Salary 34,250 - 36,250 per annum plus profit share bonus, generous tips and excellent company benefits

Brookhouse Mill is a converted water mill, now a pub full of character and charm on the banks of the River Ystrad, on the outskirts of the market town of Denbigh in the charming Vale of Clwyd. The pub was bought by Stange & Co mid-2025 and we can't wait to get it back open and at the centre of the town's community once again. Our extensive refurbishment is now well underway, we've got our head chef and GM on board, so we're now seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, hard-working DEPUTY MANAGER to join us and work alongside the GM, leading the team and driving the pub forward. What we're looking for:

A positive deputy general manager with an outgoing personality, bags of enthusiasm and a genuine love of people & pubs, so not much!

Previous experience of working in a similar environment is essential as we know you'll have the attitude and work ethos we're looking for. Some experience of managing people is also essential, as it'll be a big team and within a short space of time they'll be looking to you for direction and guidance.
