Duties
Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company policies.
Supervise kitchen staff and front-of-house teams, providing guidance and support to enhance performance.
Engage in food preparation and cooking, ensuring that all dishes meet quality standards.
Maintain food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations.
Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to ensure efficient food production.
Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and team management.
Train new staff members on operational procedures, food preparation techniques, and customer service standards.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
Collaborate with management to develop menus that reflect current trends while adhering to budgetary constraints.
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
Strong supervisory experience with a focus on team management and leadership.
Excellent culinary skills with a solid understanding of food production processes.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Previous experience in hospitality roles, including barista or hotel settings, is advantageous.
