About the Role

As Deputy General Manager, you'll work closely with the General Manager to support the day-to-day running of the business across all departments. This is a

hands-on role

suited to someone with a positive attitude, strong leadership skills, and a genuine passion for hospitality.

Key responsibilities include:

Supporting the management of the pub, restaurant, and 15-bedroom hotel Leading by example on the floor and ensuring consistently high service standards Staff training, development, and daily support Confident use of computer systems, including our hotel system

Rezcontrol

Daily cash reconciliations and basic financial tasks Problem-solving across both the pub and hotel operations Assisting with event delivery and guest experience

About You

Previous experience in a management role within hospitality (hotel or B&B experience preferred) Confident, organised, and comfortable learning new systems Hands-on, proactive, and calm under pressure Passionate about great service and team development Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, varied environment
