: 47,00 - 63,144 plus TLR 2C Allowance

A secondary school in Redbridge is looking to appoint a

Deputy Head of English

to lead the English department and maintain and raise the existing high standards. This is a school where students enjoy studying English language and literature and perform exceptionally well at GCSE and A-level.

Responsibilities

Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils Promote good progress and outcomes by pupils Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge Plan and teach wellstructured lessons and be flexible to teach KS3 & KS4 levels. Make accurate and productive use of assessment Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment

Requirements

Must hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications for the UK Must hold the Right to work in the UK Must hold an enhanced DBS or be willing to process one Must be able to provide a minimum of two professional references to cover the last 2 years
