Estates at UCL is a large division, with responsibility for an extensive capital investment programme, a large and complex property portfolio and a number of university-wide services delivered by commercially managed service contracts. This is an exciting opportunity to meaningfully shape the Estates Finance team and the service it delivers to our stakeholders.

About the role

In this job you\'ll play a key role in the Estates Finance team to provide \'best in class\' support to the Estates Division on all matters financial. You\'ll support the Head of Estates Finance, provide guidance to other team members, working alongside Departmental Directors and Senior Stakeholders and colleagues within wider Finance to ensure the successful delivery of the Estates strategy and financial goals, development of budgets and forecasts, and monitoring and reporting against actual results. You\'ll also play an important liaison role with the Central Finance Division and External Bodies ensuring full compliance with UCL financial regulations.

As well as the exciting opportunities this role presents, we also offer a salary of between \xc2\xa350,085 - \xc2\xa358,895per annum. Due to the key nature of this job, we may be able to pay more for an exceptional candidate.

About you

To do this job you\'ll need to be a fully qualified accountant with experience of working in a Business Partnering role within a complex organisation. You\'ll have experience of preparing budgets, forecasts, regular management reporting and KPIs within a large organisation. You\'ll also have experience of delivering financial analysis and producing reports to non-finance staff, demonstrating measurable outcomes, and leading meetings with non-finance colleagues.
If you have experience of working in Estates finance or higher education, have some team leadership experience, and have previously used Oracle, then that\'s useful. But if you haven\'t, but feel you meet the rest of the criteria, we\'d still love to hear from you!
