About this Role
Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with autism in a residential setting? Do you have experience in residential childcare and a commitment to high standards of care and safeguarding?
We are excited to offer an
internal secondment opportunity (for up to 12 months as maternity cover)
for the role of
Deputy Head of Residential Care
at Holbrook School for Autism. This is a fantastic chance to step into a leadership role and contribute to the continued excellence of our residential provision.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Head of Residential Care in managing all aspects of the residential provision.
Lead and support staff to ensure safeguarding and care standards are met.
Play a key role in Ofsted inspections and ensure compliance with National Minimum Care Standards.
Work directly with children and young people, planning activities and supporting their development.
Liaise with families and professionals to ensure holistic support.
Oversee medication administration and care planning.
Contribute to staff development and training.
What We're Looking For:
NVQ Level 3 or higher in Residential Childcare.
Experience working with pupils with severe SEN.
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
A flexible, resilient, and positive approach to work.
Commitment to the values of Esteem Multi-Academy Trust.
