We are seeking an inspiring Deputy Headteacher to join our Senior Leadership Team and play a pivotal role in shaping the next chapter of our school's journey.
This is an exciting opportunity to support the school's next steps -- helping us refine and embed a clear strategic direction, using a research-informed and growth mindset approach to drive improvement and innovation.
The role includes approximately 0.6 teaching responsibility, with the year group and subject area tailored to the successful candidate's experience and expertise.
This role is not limited to EYFS -- we welcome candidates with strengths and passion in any key stage or area of expertise. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to influence whole-school improvement while also leading and modelling excellent teaching and learning.
We are particularly interested in candidates with:
A strong track record in coaching and developing others.
Proven experience in leading school improvement and raising standards.
A strong eye for detail and high expectations for themselves and others.
Experience of teaching across different age groups and a willingness to teach across the school where needed.
Key responsibilities will include:
Taking a lead role in ensuring the highest standards of curriculum, provision, wellbeing, behavior, and achievement across the school.
Supporting and shaping the school's next steps and improvement journey, informed by research and a growth mindset culture.
Monitoring impact and holding staff to account in a supportive, developmental way.
Leading and modelling excellent classroom practice.
Driving forward aspects of the School Development Plan, matched to your strengths and experience.
Helping shape our school's culture and vision under the leadership of our new Headteacher.
A vibrant and nurturing team where your expertise and wellbeing are valued.
