Job Description

Beacon Lights School is a new all-through independent Islamic school that has a Sunniyy Islamic (faith-based) ethos. The school opened in September 2020 and registered its first pupils in January 2021.

We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic members of staff to be part of our dynamic and committed teaching team, to deliver our vision of providing high quality education in an Islamic environment.

The School is based in Park Ward, Halifax, West Yorkshire and had its first Ofsted inspection in March this year. The school was given Outstanding in 3 of the 4 inspection areas, and Good in one. The full inspection report is available on our website.

We are recruiting a part-time (will consider full-time) deputy headteacher in our primary school as part of our senior leadership team to provide operational and strategic support. The role is term-time only (37 weeks) working between the hours of 08:30 to 15:30 Monday to Friday.
