Job Description

Daffodil Prep School was started in 2024 with the key aim of providing primary school education covering the UK curriculum with particular emphasis on developing the child's potential in maths, science, technology, English, Latin and modern foreign languages. The strategy is to identify the child's potential early on and contrive a bespoke learning journey that enhances the child's development in line with identified potential linked to forecast future career paths.

The new prep school is looking for an experienced educationist to occupy the position of Deputy Headteacher. The position requires a person who will lead and inspire excellence in all that Daffodil Prep School does, as well as support staff in enabling every learner to be successful at any stage of their learning journey.

The suitable person for the position will be an experienced educationist who will be a senior leader and knowledgeable to inspire the teaching team with an uncompromising commitment to high expectations of themselves as well as teachers and learners.

This position is also suitable for a retired headteacher or senior management team member at the primary school level.

A dedicated, inspirational and ambitious strategic leader who has the drive to make a real difference to pupils' lives Experienced in working as a Head/Deputy Head in a primary school An outstanding and inspirational teacher and leader who is committed to raising standards Highly motivated and possesses excellent organisational skills Able to evidence considerable skill and experience in creating and leading teams and working successfully with children, families and the community Highly competent and knowledgeable about curriculum, data and assessment Able to demonstrate the highest personal and professional standards Passionate about pupil progress and the development of teaching and learning at all levels Able to work well in partnership with the Senior Leadership Team and Governors in monitoring and evaluating the standards of teaching and learning within school
As Deputy Head of School, you'll be responsible for coordinating the delivery of a holistic curriculum that places our pupils' needs at the centre of their learning. You'll work closely with a range of industry professionals, managing your team of staff and delivering clear, authentic leadership that will inspire, engage, and influence real change within your school.
