Key Responsibilities



Be an active member of the school leadership team Support the Headteacher with school strategy and daily operations Represent or deputise for the Headteacher when needed Oversee pupil progress, curriculum, and standards Manage staff and resources effectively Help develop and implement the School Development Plan Act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead

Requirements



Experience in a similar SEN provision Proven leadership and school improvement skills Strong knowledge of Ofsted and school standards Excellent classroom and teaching skills Skilled in whole-school behaviour management Deep understanding of SEND Code of Practice Clear understanding of Keeping Children Safe in Educationguidance
