We are seeking a dynamic Deputy Home Manager to lead the team, ensuring the highest standards of care and working towards achieving an Outstanding CQC rating.
Able to not only reach but exceed goals while assuring the provision of high quality care. You will take charge of the care staff and be expected to assume full management in the event of the Home Manager not being available.
Through Direct instruction and by setting a great example, you will assist in the training and supervision of care staff in all aspects of their work. You will help the Home Manager with Pre-admission assessments of residents, ensure that each resident's care plan and daily records are kept fully up to date, and foster effective communication with the families and other organisations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, inspire, and manage a team of care professionals to deliver person-centred care assisting the Home Manager.
Ensure the home meets and exceeds CQC standards, working towards an Outstanding rating.
Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to maintain full occupancy.
Build positive relationships with residents, families, and local stakeholders.
Oversee administrative functions and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Continuously evaluate and improve the quality of care and services provided.
What We're Looking For:
NMC Registered
Proven experience displaying leadership in a care home, preferably with a background in nursing or dementia care.
Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and a track record of working towards Outstanding ratings.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Business acumen and marketing experience within the private care sector.
