We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Deputy Home Manager to join our dedicated care team. Duties



Assist the Home Manager in overseeing daily operations of the facility, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery Supervise and support care staff, fostering a positive team environment focused on high-quality resident care Contribute to the development and implementation of personalized care plans tailored to each resident's needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care Ensure medication administration is performed accurately and in accordance with regulatory guidelines Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe environment for residents and staff Support budgeting processes, resource allocation, and inventory management to optimize operational efficiency Lead staff training initiatives on topics such as assisted living best practices, social work principles, and home & community care standards Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote resident well-being and enhance quality of life through engaging activities and social programs

Requirements



Proven experience in senior care settings such as nursing homes, retirement homes, or group homes with a focus on long-term or assisted living environments Demonstrated supervisory or management experience within healthcare or social services sectors Strong knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer's care, memory support strategies, and person-centered approaches Familiarity with developing and managing care plans tailored to residents' individual needs Experience with medication administration and understanding of healthcare regulations governing assisted living facilities Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide staff effectively Solid financial acumen including budgeting, resource management, and operational oversight Working knowledge of home & community care practices, social work principles, and resident rights Ability to handle sensitive situations with compassion while maintaining professionalism and transparency

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 24,420.00-45,464.46 per year
