Rockdale House in Sevenoaks provides excellent residential and nursing care for the residents in our 50-bed care home, set in beautiful surroundings, and located in the centre of Sevenoaks. It is highly regarded by the community.
Rockdale has been through an exciting period of change and has recently rolled out a new nursing service. The Deputy Home Manager position is a clinical role, where you will lead the nursing team, and be motivated to provide this new service offer at Rockdale. Ensuring the highest standards of care, providing residents with a home for life.
The Deputy Home Manager will provide direct support to the Home Manager, manage the home in the absence of the Home Manager, and therefore can undertake the same responsibilities as the Manager. The role ensures that the highest standards of personal and person-centred care are delivered.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, over 4 days, Monday to Sunday.
Pay: 52,000 per year
For this role, successful candidates will have:
Significant experience of working in a care home environment
Be a registered nurse with a valid NMC pin
A Level 4 in Health and Social care
2 years' experience in a management role within the care sector
Experience of leading, motivating and managing a care team
Specialist knowledge and understanding of the needs and care of older people and issues that affect them.
