Within the Consulting division of the Group, Real Estate is the UK's leading service charge and insurance management consultancy in the retail, leisure, office and industrial sectors.


This position is remote, but you'll be part of our experienced team undertaking service charge and insurance management consultancy on behalf of occupiers principally within the retail and leisure space. The client base is predominantly blue-chip, we're advising many of the UK's leading retailers and leisure companies.

And as a Deputy Insurance Manager with Bellrock, you'll do it by


A sustained period of growth has allowed the opportunity to expand our team, from a two-tier structure to a three-tier structure. Reporting to the Insurance Manager you will be given a varied caseload of insurance rent demands to review, as well as overseeing 2-3 client contracts, and there will be times when you will need to deputise for the Insurance Manager.


You will play a key role in ensuring that the high service standards we aspire to deliver for our clients are consistently delivered, helping to address any issues that are presented and contributing positively to our operational improvement plans.


You will also bolster the bandwidth our internal support network, including for our existing Assistant Insurance Managers, acting as a technical referral point for more complex or contentious casework.

What does it take?




If you're ready to be the energy that helps us build our business, share our success, and really own it as a Deputy Insurance Manager, you'll need

Strong familiarity with commercial insurance broking/placement procedures within the UK and/or Republic of Ireland. Technically adept in commercial real estate insurance, including common policy features and complex risk profile information. Experience of high volume or high value account management, ideally with direct accountability. Ability to learn and embrace adherence to our procedures, but with the ability to find alternative solutions and implement changes when challenges arise. Cert CII qualification or higher. Proficiency in computer use, especially Excel. Willingness to learn and adapt, including understanding and interpreting leases and gaining insights into building reinstatement costs. Good commercial awareness. Strong communication and negotiation skills. An analytical and inquisitive mind with a keen eye for detail. Comfortable with autonomous decision making. Flexibility and the ability to meet deadlines. High level of numeracy. Commitment to professional growth and the acquisition of new skills.

Working arrangements

In this role, the successful candidate would be required to work from home Monday to Friday 08:30-17:00 alongside occasional team/client meetings around the UK.
