Deputy Kitchen Manager Vacancy

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Kitchen Manager to join our team here at Telford Court Care Home, Crewe, Cheshire CW1 3AW.

Job Summary

*To assist in the daily preparation and serving of food to service users and cleaning up operations.
*To have a basic understanding of the dietary requirements of all service users.
*To have a basic understanding of Mental Health needs of service users.
*To be physically fit for the post.

Responsibilities of the Post

*To take personal responsibility in becoming fully aware and observant of all Company Policies and Procedures and their implementation.
*To ensure that all Food Hygiene regulations are strictly adhered to.
*To have knowledge of and adhere to the stated cleaning methods observing COSHH regulations.
*To observe the correct use and care of equipment reporting promptly any defects in machinery or materials.
*To take a personal responsibility in becoming fully aware and observant of the companies Health & Safety Policy, reporting accidents and hazards.
*To carry out tasks delegated by the Catering Manager.
*To participate in staff meetings as requested and attend all relevant training sessions.
*To provide assistance to other staff as directed by the Nurse in Charge or Home Manager.
*To assist in ensuring the security of all service users and the premise through the observance of security procedures.
*As a Deputy Kitchen Manager, you are the face of Inspired Life Care Limited and therefore should be suitably uniformed at all times.

Shift times for this position are 4 days per week working 7am - 5pm and 8am-6pm

Candidates

must be available to work every other weekend.

Applicants must be over 18.
