Summary

We are seeking a Deputy Manager to join our team in providing exceptional care and support to children and families. This role is crucial in ensuring that our mission is fulfilled by fostering independence and responsibility among the children we serve.

Purpose of the Job

:

To support the Manager with the day to day running of the pre-school

To manage the pre-school in the absence of the Manager

To support staff in delivering practice in line with policies and procedures

To work alongside the Manager to ensure and effective Key Carer system is in place and partnership with the parents is strong

To act as a key carer to small group of children

To attend staff meetings

To attend training courses to keep up to date with good practice in Early Years provision.

Qualifications

:

Level 3 in Early Years Education

First Aid

Child Protection

Food and Hygiene

Skills:

Team Player with essential people skills

Enthusiastic with a good sense of humour and Passion for Early Years Practice

Sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage

Commitment to train further

Must be computer literate

Some experience in a managerial/supervisory position would be advantageous but not essential.

Hours:

35 hours term time only

Monday 8.15am to 3.45pm inc 30 min break

Tuesday 8.15am to 3.45pm inc 30 min break

Wednesday 8.15am to 3.45pm inc 30 min break

Thursday 8.15am to 3.45pm inc 30 min break

Friday 8.15am to 3.30pm inc 30 min break
