Deputy Manager - Children's Residential Services

Location:

Barton-Le-Clay, Bedfordshire

Salary:

38,000 - 45,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Hours:

Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate

Deputy Manager

to join our brand-new children's residential home. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the Registered Manager, lead a dedicated team, and make a lasting difference in the lives of vulnerable young people.

Your role:

As Deputy Manager, you will:

Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home Provide leadership, guidance, and supervision to staff Ensure the highest standards of care and safeguarding for young people Contribute to care planning, staff development, and effective team working Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and professionals to achieve positive outcomes

What we're looking for:

Previous experience working in a children's residential setting (management or senior role desirable) A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) - Level 5 desirable or willingness to work towards it Strong leadership and communication skills Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children Ability to work collaboratively and lead by example
