Overview
We are seeking dedicated and experienced Registered Children's Manager's to lead our team in providing exceptional care for children in a residential setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for improving the lives of young individuals. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of care plans, medication administration, and the unique needs of children in a care home environment. As a Registered Children's Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring high standards of care while fostering a supportive and nurturing atmosphere.
Responsibilities
Set up children's home in applicants area. Own and manage home.
Oversee the daily operations of the children's residential care home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
Lead, supervise, and mentor staff members, promoting professional development and teamwork.
Develop, implement, and review individual care plans tailored to each child's needs, ensuring they receive appropriate support and guidance.
Administer medications as required, maintaining accurate records and adhering to safety protocols.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and external agencies to ensure holistic care for each child.
Monitor the wellbeing of children in your care, addressing any concerns promptly and effectively.
Maintain a safe and welcoming environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and social development of children.
Requirements

NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care
Demonstrate
commitment to obtain a Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care
Significant experience of working within a Children's Home.
Must have demonstrable knowledge of and commitment to Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Previous experience and knowledge of the Ofsted Regulatory Framework for Children's Homes
Proven leadership skills with experience supervising staff in a healthcare or residential environment.
Strong knowledge of medication administration protocols and care planning processes.
Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with children, families, staff, and external professionals.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of care delivery.
A compassionate approach towards children's needs with a commitment to safeguarding their welfare.
