We are seeking a committed and experienced
Deputy Manager
to support the smooth running of our 3-bedded
EBD children's residential home
in
Wombourne

About the Role
As
Deputy Manager
, you will work alongside the
Registered Manager
to ensure the home operates to the highest standards. You'll help create a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment where children can grow and thrive. This is a key leadership role with direct responsibility for mentoring and guiding staff, maintaining compliance, and promoting positive outcomes for children.
Key Responsibilities
Support the daily running of a 3-bedded EBD residential home
Lead, supervise, and develop a team of Residential Support Workers
Ensure full compliance with
Ofsted standards
and
safeguarding regulations
Create and manage
individual care plans
tailored to each child's needs
Foster a therapeutic and nurturing home environment
Participate in the
on-call rota
and act as Manager in their absence
What We're Looking For
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
(or equivalent) -
Essential
Minimum
2 years' experience
in a children's EBD residential setting
Proven experience in a
senior or supervisory
role
Strong knowledge of
trauma-informed care
, safeguarding, and behaviour management
Natural leader - confident, resilient, and empathetic
Commitment to supporting vulnerable children and helping them reach their potential
