Job Title: Deputy Manager - Clinical


Salary: 26.50


Hours: Full Time Permanent Contract (7am-7pm, 3-4 days a weeks to include alternate weekends)


Location: Nightingale Nursing & Care Home, Edwinstowe, NG21 9PA

About Nightingale Nursing & Care Home


Nightingale Nursing & Care Home is based in the centre of Edwinstowe, near Mansfield. The home, although purpose-built, has been made very homely, and has a selection of garden areas, in line with Jasmine's values and ethos. The home provides personal, nursing and dementia care to 49 residents.


Role Responsibilities as Deputy Manager - Clinical


Working alongside our Home Manager, you'll achieve Jasmine's mission in our home, by ensuring all our residents are provided with the highest standards of care, and doing everything you can to develop, motivate, and improve the wellbeing of your team.
You'll oversee that the care plans for our residential residents are completed within the timescales require by the company policy and ensure that all care plans are evaluated at least once a calendar month.
You'll ensure all our team members are fully competent with medication such as completing weekly audits and requesting medication in plenty of time. Medication handling must be always carried out correctly such as returning old medication to the pharmacy each month and booking it in on a timely basis.


Role Requirements as Deputy Manager - Clinical


Relevant Professional qualification (e.g. Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD).
Minimum of three years' experience in residential/nursing home setting of which at least one year must be with people living with dementia.
Conducting effective person centred One to Ones.
Live within 30 minutes of the Home.
Leadership and interpersonal skills.
Medicine Management
Ability to provide high standards of care and work under pressure.
Time management and flexibility with working hours.
Willingness to progress career.
Written and verbal communication skills.
