Key Responsibilities:

The Deputy Manager is to be a role model to the entire staff team, consistently displaying a high level of enthusiasm, attendance, loyalty, and motivation. Contributing to the nursery's alignment with all statutory direction, deputising when the manager is absent, actively promoting the good reputation of the nursery, showcasing outstanding practice, and ensuring equal opportunities for all.

Requirements:

Level 3 Childcare qualification Previous experience managing within the Early Years sector (eg room leading or above) Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage Completion of specific training courses. A passion for supporting children to learn and develop. Excellent communication skills to engage with children and parents. Leadership and management abilities to oversee nursery operations. Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children Proficiency in English.

Successful candidates will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS disclosure. Please note that it is an offence to apply for a role in regulated activity if barred from working with children.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 26,000.00-30,000.00 per year
