Deputy Care Home Manager

Hours:

37.5 hours per week

Salary:

35,000 per annum

We are now looking for an experienced and compassionate Deputy Care Home Manager to join the leadership team at Westhill Park, Kettering. This role is ideal for someone with proven experience in a care home setting who is confident supporting the management of high-quality services for older people.


As Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Home Manager to support the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring residents receive safe, effective and person-centred care. You will play a key role in leading colleagues, maintaining regulatory compliance, and embedding Anchor's values throughout the home.


The Role




This is a hands-on leadership position where your experience and judgement will make a real difference. You will help ensure that high standards of care are consistently delivered, supporting both residents and colleagues to thrive.


Your responsibilities will include:


Supporting the Home Manager in the operational management of the care home Ensuring consistently high standards of care in line with CQC regulations and Anchor policies Leading and supporting colleagues to deliver person-centred, compassionate care Using your knowledge of safeguarding vulnerable adults to promote a safe and respectful environment Supporting audits, inspections and quality monitoring to drive continuous improvement Building positive relationships with residents, families and external professionals

About You




You will be an experienced care professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for high-quality care. You will bring:


Proven experience working within a care home environment A strong understanding of the needs of older people and person-centred care delivery Knowledge of safeguarding, regulatory compliance and quality standards Experience supporting or leading audits and inspections A customer-focused approach, with residents' wellbeing at the heart of everything you do Strong attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement The ability to lead with empathy, integrity and professionalism
