Deputy Manager
to help shape and grow the service from day one.
This is an amazing opportunity to make your mark -- supporting the Registered/Branch Manager in building a high-quality, person-centred care service that truly makes a difference in the local community.
About the Role
As Deputy Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in every aspect of the branch's development and daily operations. You'll help recruit and support our first carers, assist with care planning and coordination, and ensure every customer receives outstanding, compassionate care.
Key responsibilities will include:
Supporting the launch and registration of a new branch under CQC
Recruiting, onboarding, and mentoring new care staff
Carrying out assessments, spot checks, and quality monitoring
Ensuring compliance, care planning, and documentation are always up to standard
Building strong relationships with customers, families, and local partners
Supporting marketing and community engagement activities to grow the branch
Deputising for the Manager when required
About You
You'll be energetic, positive, and organised -- the kind of person who thrives in a growing environment where every day brings something new. You'll take pride in delivering quality care and supporting others to do the same.
Essential:
Experience in domiciliary/home care (Coordinator, Field Care Supervisor, or Deputy level)
Knowledge of CQC requirements and care compliance
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Strong IT and organisational ability
A genuine passion for care and community impact
Desirable:
NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards Level 5)
Full UK driving licence and access to a car
