Cherry Tree Montessori are seeking a full time (maternity cover) Deputy Manager who can support the Manager in leading and inspiring the team to make meaningful connections in the children's lives who attend the nursery.

Hours will be either 4 long days (7.45am-5pm or 3 long days and two half days 7.45am-1pm)

We are a small 24 place nursery based within a rural setting with lovely outdoor environment.

Responsibilities include

Promoting the nursery in the local community and continue to increase business revenue. Provide professional leadership, coaching and support for staff within the nursery. Comply with all regulatory standard and maintain relevant paperwork. Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents, staff, children and other professionals. Operate the nursery within a given financial budget. Deliver high quality childcare and education.
You will need at least 2 years previous experience in an early years role, with a minimum of a relevant Level 3 qualification. Support and training provided for an individual looking to progress their career. Additional qualifications are desirable. Knowledge of the statutory framework and safeguarding procedures are essential.

The successful candidate will be required to have 2 returned references and complete at DBS check.
