Deputy Manager
Responsibilities


Silver Trees Care Home is seeking a Nurse-qualified- Deputy Manager (RGN) to support the day-to-day leadership and clinical governance of our home.


This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse leader to combine clinical practice with supernumerary management time in a supportive, quality-focused environment.


Silver Tree Care Home is situated in Nailsea, North Somerset.


We are looking to hire for FT contracted hours of 36.25 hrs/week.


Role structure:


1 clinical shift (12.25 hours)


3 supernumerary leadership days


Responsibilities:


To manage all aspects of the home in the absence of the Home Manager.


To maintain excellent care and health & safety standards.


To support the maintenance of a positive reputation for the Home in the local community.


To support the attainment of budgeted financial performance; maximising fee levels and exercising sound cost management across the Home.


To help build and maintain a well-motivated and engaged workforce.


To perform direct nursing duties on a basis agreed with the Home Manager in accordance with contractual arrangements.


Qualifications and Skills


Essential:


Active NMC PIN (RGN)


Care home experience


Strong knowledge of CQC regulations


Supervisory or management experience


Values-led, visible, and supportive leadership style

Silver Trees Care


The home caters 60 residents and offers Nursing and Residential care. We care for elderly and frail people including Cancer Care, Colitis & Crohn's Disease, Epilepsy, Hearing Impairment, Huntington's disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's Disease and Stroke. Facility & Services we offer are Palliative Care, Day Care, Respite Care, Convalescent Care, and Separate EMI Unit.
