Aone Children's Services is looking to recruit a Deputy Manager ideally someone who is looking for new opportunity, career advancement or a positive change. The ideal candidate will have minimum 2 years of experience in managerial/ supervisory position with at least 1 year recent experience working in Children's Homes with sound knowledge of Children's Home's Regulation 2015 and Ofsted Quality Framework.

Aone Children's Services is a new company developed with passion and a vast amount of opportunities. We are looking for passionate people to join our team of professionals in our first Children's Home in Westbury.

We are a dynamic company aiming to deliver the highest quality services for children and young people living with Autism, Learning Disabilities, Communication and Sensory impairments and associated needs.

About the home:



The home is set at the heart of Westbury and supports up to 3 children up to the age of 18 years old who have a diagnosis of Autism or a learning disability. You will be responsible for providing compassionate care during your time in the Home, you will support the Registered Manager to ensure that the home is managed in line with the Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards, as well as company policies and procedures, and you must be familiar with OFSTED guidelines and inspections.

About you



- You will have at least 2 years' experience in managerial/ supervisory role.

- You will have minimum 1 year of experience working with children in a residential setting (within the last five years).

- You either hold or are willing to obtain the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).

- You have a thorough knowledge of The Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards, as well as The Children's Act 1989 and all other relevant legislation.

- You have a passion for improving the life outcomes for vulnerable young people and experience in supervising, guiding and supporting staff, managing budgets and completing detailed and analytical reports.

- You are a caring, passionate person who is looking to kick start a new role in an enthusiastic, supportive team!

- You are a team player, and you are able to demonstrate the values of the home

- You are able to use your transferable skills and life experience.

- You are capable of supporting vulnerable children with varying degrees of emotional behavioural difficulties, autism, ADHD and associated needs.

- You have a resilient attitude.

- You have strong communication skills

- You are confident in organising and updating care plans.
