We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team in a fun after school setting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in working with children. As the Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall management of the facility, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with regulations while ensuring a positive atmosphere for both children and staff.
Duties
Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations of the after school ensuring compliance with early years.
Supervise and support staff, providing leadership and guidance to promote a cohesive team environment.
Develop, implement, and review individual care plans any children, ensuring they meet their specific needs.
Provide support to staff.
Maintain effective communication with, families, and
healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
Participate in recruitment, training, and performance management of staff members.
Skills
Proven experience in working with children a minimum of two years.
Excellent management skills with prior supervising experience desired but not essential
Strong leadership qualities with excellent interpersonal skills.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From 14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 - 20 per week
