An exciting opportunity has arisen to become the Deputy Manager of an outstanding home for children with disabilities. We are looking for an inspirational, experienced leader who has the right skills, values, and knowledge to develop and lead a staff team to work with the most vulnerable children, ensuring their physical, emotional, cultural and health care needs are met.
Caudwell House is a home for children with physical disabilities, associated learning difficulties and sensory and health needs. It provides both short breaks and full-time residential care. Staff will perform health procedures, intimate and personal care and moving and handling tasks which they receive training for and are competency assessed by health professionals.
The home has been judged as Outstanding by Ofsted for 13 consecutive years. The management and staff team are well established, highly skilled, highly trained, knowledgeable, and work together cohesively to ensure that an outstanding service is always delivered to children.
The home is a forward thinking, innovative service which prides itself on providing the best possible care for children, ensuring that they meet their full potential during every stage in their young lives. The overriding principle at Caudwell House is that the children cared for should have an experience that is as enjoyable as possible, in a safe, healthy, and relaxed environment which enables them to reach their full potential.
