We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced
Deputy Manager
to join our care home team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in elderly care and be confident in leading, supporting, and motivating staff to deliver the highest standards of person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the care home.
Ensure compliance with CQC standards and company policies.
Supervise and mentor care staff, ensuring excellent care delivery.
Conduct assessments, care planning, and risk management.
Promote a positive, safe, and supportive environment for residents and staff.
Lead by example, maintaining a professional and compassionate approach at all times.
Requirements:
Minimum of
4 years' experience
within a care home environment.
NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Health & Social Care
(or working towards it).
Alternatively,
NVQ Level 3
with at least 2-3 years' experience as a Team Leader or Senior Carer.
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Sound understanding of safeguarding, health and safety, and quality assurance processes.
Salary:
30,000 - 40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
