Our Ofsted-registered home in

Tottenham

provides a safe, nurturing, and stable environment for children and young people aged 10-17. We use a trauma-informed, relationship-based approach to ensure that every decision we make puts the child's best interests first.

Your Role as Deputy Manager



Working closely with the Registered Manager, you'll play a key leadership role in maintaining exceptional standards of care and operational excellence. You'll be both a role model for best practice and a supportive guide for your team -- ensuring that every young person receives the highest quality care.

Key responsibilities include:



Leadership & Team Management:

Supervise, mentor, and develop staff while fostering a positive, professional team culture.

Care Planning:

Oversee personalised care plans that meet regulatory standards and promote each young person's wellbeing and progress.

Safeguarding & Welfare:

Lead on safeguarding in the Registered Manager's absence, ensuring children's safety and emotional security at all times.

Compliance & Quality Assurance:

Support inspections, maintain full regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement across the service.

Professional Growth:

Engage in structured leadership training to prepare for progression into the Registered Manager role.

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care

(if not already held). Ongoing mentorship from senior leaders to guide you toward your Registered Manager position.

What You'll Bring



Minimum

2 years' experience

in a supervisory or leadership role within children's residential care.

NVQ Level 3

in Residential Childcare (or equivalent), and willingness to complete Level 5 if required. Strong leadership and safeguarding knowledge, with an excellent understanding of childcare legislation. Compassion, resilience, and ambition to progress into senior leadership. A genuine commitment to supporting young people to heal, grow, and thrive.
