We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our senior care facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in assisted living and nursing home environments, with a passion for providing exceptional care to our residents. As the Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the management team and ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained for our residents, particularly those with dementia and Alzheimer's.
Duties
Assist in the overall management of the care home, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Supervise and support staff in delivering high-quality care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
Oversee medication administration and ensure that all procedures are followed correctly.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care strategies for residents.
Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and professional development.
Conduct regular assessments of resident care needs and adjust care plans as necessary.
Manage daily operations, including staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
Address any concerns or issues raised by residents or their families in a timely manner.
Skills
Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home settings, with a strong understanding of senior care practices.
Background in nursing is highly desirable, along with experience in dementia and Alzheimer's care.
Strong management skills with previous supervising experience in a care home environment.
Excellent leadership capabilities, able to motivate and inspire staff to deliver outstanding care.
Proficient in developing and implementing effective care plans tailored to individual resident needs.
Knowledge of medication administration protocols and best practices within senior care settings.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with residents, families, and staff members.
