We are looking for a passionate Deputy Nursery Manager to join our 40-place family-run nursery in Reading. This supernumerary role supports the Nursery Manager across staff leadership, operations, and admin, ensuring high-quality care for children aged 12 weeks+.

Salary: 14.90-15.60ph / Up to 32,448pa (DOE) Hours: 36-40 hrs over 4-5 days, 8am-6pm - All Year Round Benefits: 28 days annual leave (+ birthday off), 4-day work week, pension, childcare discount, free uniform, ride-to-work scheme, training and progression, onsite parking

Responsibilities:

Support and lead nursery staff Ensure regulatory compliance & safeguarding Develop engaging educational programs Manage budgets, resources, and operations Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff

About You:

Level 3+ childcare qualification Nursery leadership experience EYFS, safeguarding, SEND knowledge Experience developing high-performing teams and Ofsted readiness
