About the Role
Working closely with the Nursery Manager, you'll help oversee the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring every child receives the highest standard of care and education. You'll be a role model for the team, bringing enthusiasm, expertise, and kindness into everything you do.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Team:
Inspire, mentor, and support staff to deliver their best every day
Champion Quality:
Plan and deliver a vibrant, child-led EYFS curriculum
Operational Support:
Assist with rotas, safeguarding, health and safety, budgets, and compliance requirements
Build Strong Partnerships:
Forge warm, trusting relationships with families, keeping them fully engaged in their child's journey
Create Opportunities:
Foster an environment where every child can explore, learn, and grow confidently
What We're Looking For:
A recognised Level 3 qualification (or higher) in Early Years Education
Previous leadership or supervisory experience within a nursery setting
Sound understanding of the EYFS framework, safeguarding, and related legislation
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
A genuine passion for early years education and a commitment to making a positive difference
