Little Seedlings Day Nursery has an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Manager to join our New Hutte site (Halewood)

We are looking for a highly motivated, creative and enthusiastic Deputy Manager to work in our family environment run Nursery.

As a Deputy Manager you will work alongside our Nursery Manager and other senior staff. You will be a positive role model to your team and provide them with support and inspiration to provide outstanding care and education.

You will have excellent communication skills which will enable strong relationships to be built with not only your team, but with the children, their families and the other outside agencies that we work with.

This is a full-time role (40 hours) working between the hours of 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities / Requirements:

Qualified to level 3 or above in Childcare with appropriate and relevant qualifications.

At least 4 years' experience of managing / supporting other members of staff within the setting eg Room Leader / SENDCo

Strong knowledge of the statutory Early Years Foundation Stage Framework ensuring that the EYFS is embedded into practice.

Good knowledge of how best to support children with SEND and able to discuss strategies that have been used previously

Going above and beyond to ensure that all Ofsted statutory requirements are met.

Promote a positive happy thriving provision, simulating the children to reach the best goals set out.

Be a good leader and work well as part of a team, ensuring all staff are adhering to policies and procedures in place.

Strong communication / written skills

To liaise and build partnerships with parents and outside agencies

Lead Responsibilities for the day to day running of the setting.

Ability to follow the Little Seedlings ethos and promoting our family nursery in a positive way.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 31,200.00 per year
