The Role

As Deputy Nursery Manager, you'll work alongside the Nursery Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the setting. You'll provide hands-on leadership and strategic support, helping your team deliver outstanding early years education and care.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of practitioners Supporting the planning and delivery of a rich, stimulating EYFS curriculum Ensuring safeguarding, health & safety, and Ofsted standards are consistently met Building strong, positive relationships with parents and carers Assisting with staffing, rotas, and budget management Creating an inclusive, safe, and engaging environment for all children
About You

We're looking for a confident, enthusiastic leader who is committed to delivering the very best in early years care.

You'll need:

A full and relevant

Level 3 qualification (or higher)

in Early Years Experience in a

supervisory or management role

within a nursery Strong knowledge of

EYFS, safeguarding, and compliance standards

Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills A proactive, flexible approach and genuine passion for childcare
