Job Description

We are looking for a qualified level 3 early years practitioner to join us at our home from home day nursery to become our new deputy manager. We are a small established nursery, registered for 31 children with a current Good OFSTED rating.

This is a very exciting opportunity for the right candidate! We are looking for a Level 3 qualified, enthusiastic person to join our team, on a full time basis.

Day to day tasks include (but not limited to) inspiring the children to reach their next stage of development through teaching & learning, caring for the children and completing paperwork.

The suitable candidate must:

Hold a full and relevant Early Years Level 3 childcare qualification(or higher) Have good knowledge of the current EYFS & Safeguarding.
Day to day tasks include:

Planning and providing exciting and engaging oppertunities for children aged birth-school age. As a key person you will oversee your key children's overall development. Promoting positive achievements as well as identifying any needs and gaps in development. Arranging base rooms around children's interests based around termly topics as well as children's interests from our wide range of resources.
Other duties include: Nappy changing/toileting support, parent/carer handovers, serving meals, writing observations and reports on key-children.

Job Type: Full time, permanent.

Hours: 42.5 hours per week.

Shifts Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8am and 6pm.
