Your Role as Deputy Manager



As Deputy Manager, you'll work closely with the Nursery Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the setting, ensuring high standards of care, learning, and team support.

Key responsibilities include:



Supporting the smooth, effective daily running of the nursery Leading, mentoring, and inspiring the practitioner team Helping plan and deliver a creative, child-centred EYFS curriculum Ensuring safeguarding and health & safety are embedded in practice Building strong, supportive relationships with families Contributing to staffing, recruitment, rotas, and budget oversight Creating an inclusive, safe, and engaging environment for all children

What We're Looking For



We're looking for a confident, proactive leader who is passionate about early childhood education and committed to helping both children and staff thrive.

You will have:



A

Level 3 qualification

(or higher) in Early Years Education/Childcare (required) Experience in a

supervisory or leadership role

within a nursery setting Strong knowledge of the

EYFS framework

, safeguarding, and relevant legislation Excellent

communication, organisational, and leadership

skills A positive, hands-on approach and a deep commitment to quality care
