Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our childcare facility, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children. This position requires strong management and leadership skills, as well as a passion for early childhood education.

Duties

Assist the Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards. Provide leadership and support to staff, fostering a positive team environment. Engage with children, promoting their development through play and educational activities. Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians, addressing any concerns or inquiries. Ensure that all health and safety protocols are adhered to within the facility. Support staff in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that enhance children's learning experiences. Conduct regular assessments of children's progress and development, providing feedback to parents as necessary. Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of new staff members.

Experience

Proven experience in a management role within a childcare setting is essential. Strong background in early childhood education or nursery experience is highly desirable. Experience working with children, demonstrating an understanding of their developmental needs. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate transportation as needed. Strong leadership abilities with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
