This state-of-the-art, bustling private hospital are searching for a compassionate and knowledgeable Deputy Pharmacy Manager to join their well-established Pharmacy team. This 72-bed hospital boasts 6 theatres, 2 enhanced care rooms, state-of-the-art imaging and diagnostic department with innovative technology, Physiotherapy and Pharmacy department. The hospital provides high quality, patient-centred care to both private and NHS patients; priding themselves on their ability to provide consistent care to all of their patients.
As a successful Deputy Pharmacy Manager for this role, you will be joining a small, well-knit team of professionals which gives you plenty of opportunity to utilise your clinical skills within a private hospital setting! Within this role, you will be responsible for leading medication safety within an in-patient, out-patient, and day care setting. This includes supervising the procurement, preparation, dispensing and distribution of medicines to patients whilst providing the upmost care through medicine management services. You will also be responsible for managing the pharmacy in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager. In order to successfully fulfil this, the successful candidate should have at least two years\' experience within a hospital setting.

Requirements

• Degree in MPharm, BSc or BPharm
• GPhC Registration
• At least 2 years of experience within a hospital setting
• Passion for high quality patient care
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

This hospital is located in Maidstone, commutable from Rochester, Sittingbourne, Tunbridge Wells and Staplehurst.
