Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deputy Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional service and maintaining high standards of food quality. You will play a crucial part in fostering a positive environment for both staff and guests, while helping to drive the success of the restaurant.

Duties

Assist in managing restaurant operations, including supervising staff and coordinating activities to ensure smooth service. Help maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation in accordance with culinary guidelines. Support team management by training, mentoring, and motivating staff to deliver excellent customer service. Oversee inventory management and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment. Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction. Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager on menu planning and food production strategies. Assist in managing budgets and financial performance through effective cost control measures.

Experience

The ideal candidate will possess:

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting, ideally in a supervisory or leadership role. Strong culinary knowledge with an understanding of food preparation techniques. Experience in bartending is advantageous but not essential. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to lead a team effectively. A passion for providing outstanding service and helping others succeed. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Working pattern: Wednesday to Sunday including evening shifts - including some evening shifts.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 29,500.00 per year
