Job Description

Due to our exciting Nursery expansion, we are looking for a Deputy Room Leader to work in our small and friendly baby room. You must be a passionate and experienced Level 3 or Level 2 Qualified Early Years Practitioner. We are committed to curiosity-led learning and development to support children's sense of awe and wonder.

We are flexible about days and hours to be worked and this can be discussed at interview.

Please note, this role is due to start end of August/beginning of September 2025.



Responsibilities and Duties

To lead the baby room in the absence of the room leader. To provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for the children in our nursery. To support your colleagues and work as part of a team in providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all children. (Ages range from 9 months to rising 4's). To assist in the development of a stimulating range of resources and activities relevant to the age and needs of the children in the setting, which encourage independence and self motivation. To ensure the highest standards of safety, hygiene and welfare whilst maintaining adequate supervision of the conduct of the children attending the setting. To treat information of matters relating to the work within the setting as confidential. To ensure company policies and procedures are followed at all times. To support the management team in striving to deliver an outstanding setting To provide inclusive play and learning opportunities for all children attending the setting Any other duties that may be required
