We are looking for an enthusiastic Deputy Room Leader to join our friendly and nurturing nursery team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the Room Leader in providing a warm, stimulating and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.

As a Deputy Room Leader you will:

Assist the room leader in planning and delivering high-quality, age-appropriate activities following the EYFS framework.

Provide a safe, caring and engaging learning environment for all children.

Act as a key person, building strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues.

Support and mentor nursery practitioners to deliver outstanding care and education.

Step up and lead the room in the absence of the Room Leader.

You will have:

A level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare. (Level 3 preferred, Level 2 considered).

Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting.

A genuine passion for child development and learning through play.

Excellent communication and and teamwork skills.

A positive, pro-active attitude and a nurturing approach.
