Full-time, 36 hours over 4 days or 41 hours over 4.5 days

Salary:

15.00 - 16.50 per hour (depending on experience)

About the Role


We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic

Deputy Room Leader

to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a childcare professional with a Level 3 qualification who is ready to step into a leadership role and support the daily running of the room.

Key Responsibilities



Assist the Room Leader in overseeing the daily operations of the room. Lead by example to provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children. Support and mentor nursery practitioners within the room. Plan, implement, and evaluate activities in line with the EYFS framework. Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Ensure safeguarding and health & safety standards are upheld.

Requirements



Level 3 qualification in Childcare (essential). At least 2 years' experience working in a nursery or childcare setting (preferred). Strong knowledge of EYFS and early years development. Previous leadership or senior practitioner experience desirable. A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 15.00-17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 41 per week
