The Opportunity




Based onsite at Glensanda, the largest granite quarry in Europe we now have an opportunity for a Production Supervisor. Internally known as a Deputy Production Shift Manager, you'll join our existing team in the production and ship loading aspect of our process.


You'll be based across this 6,000-acre site and will operate on a 5on 5off, rotating days & nights shift pattern. Where with the support of our existing team you'll support the development of colleagues and ensure we are operating in a safe and effective manner.


You'll be a pivotal member of the Production team, keeping targets on track and deputising for the Shift Manager vacancy where required.


Glensanda is only accessible via the Holcim UK ferry from Benderloch, so you could either do a daily trip or stop onsite in free en-suite accommodation depending on your home location. The accommodation block is inclusive of a canteen, Gym, Sauna and Games Room.

Who you are




You'll have experience working within the Quarry or mining industry, looking for a step into the largest quarry in the UK.


You'll be Health & Safety focussed, ensuring safe working areas for colleagues.


You'll have experience supervising or leading a team within an industrial environment.


Geotechnical qualifications, quarry regulations and SHE certification is desirable.


Experience operating mobile and fixed plant is desirable
